In phosphoric acid plant, our Prayon tilting pan filter is used in order to separate the phosphoric acid and the gypsum. The stainless steel cells composing the filter can be damaged by the wash water coming from the ground with certain concentrations of salt, chlorine and fluorine that can attack the cells, to the point of perforating them.
PROFILE has teamed up with our Prayon Technologies (PRT) and Research & Development (R&D) divisions to solve these corrosion problems. They designed a rubberized equipment adapted to this harsh environment.
