Phosphorus chemistry to valorize resources and craft the world of tomorrow

Transmitting knowledge and empowering doctorate students across the world to develop innovations to address environmental challenges, this is why Prayon and the IMT Mines Albi- Carmaux, have joined forces. Together, they have created a common lab that supports students from all over the world to foster innovative research to drive sustainability in phosphorus chemistry and develop new applications.

As part of this initiative, Prayon is a partner of WasteEng2022, the conference International Conference on Engineering for Waste and Biomass Valorisation, that took place from 27 to 30th June in Copenhagen.

In line with its social commitment, Prayon’s contribution to the conference also enables African students to make the trip to join the conference and exchange on their fields of research.

Alain Germeau, Vice President Development Projects at Prayon, will chair several sessions during which students and researchers will present their phosphate-based research to drive circular economy with projects ranging from valorization of waste and biomass at high temperature to capture heavy metals, storing energy, developing solar receptors, optimizing hydrogen production, recuperating phosphate in fly ashes or improving water quality.
